What’s Coming Next to CropSight™?
Emission Tracking & MRV Tools
VGreen is building a field-based carbon MRV (Measurement, Reporting, and Verification) system directly into the CropSight™ platform to serve as the foundation of our future climate-smart service infrastructure.
This system will be designed to track emission reductions resulting from improved fertilizer practices, minimized post-harvest food loss, and the use of biochar. It will also monitor post-harvest activities such as solar drying and produce handling to capture their impact on overall emissions. The goal is to create a structured, geo-referenced database of farm-level CO₂e emissions and savings that can support sustainability claims from both farmers and agri-processors. By enabling credible, data-driven reporting, CropSight will evolve into a climate ledger for VGreen’s regenerative agriculture platform—empowering stakeholders to access carbon finance, meet ESG targets, and verify their climate impact with confidence.
